This is a bilingual sports anchor/reporter position for Minnesota’s first Spanish-language newscast, based in Minneapolis.

The role includes:

• on-air sports anchoring
• live reporting
• producing sports segments
• shooting/editing video
• social media posting
• community engagement

The position supports several Telemundo affiliate stations nationwide.

Main Responsibilities

• Produce daily sports stories for broadcasts
• Anchor sports segments for morning/evening newscasts
• Report live from sporting events
• Write, shoot, voice, and edit stories
• Assist with multimedia/video editing
• Post content to social media and websites
• Build community relationships and sports contacts
• Cover breaking sports news as needed

This is a very hands-on multimedia journalism role.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, broadcasting, or related field
• Newsroom experience
• Fluent Spanish and English communication skills
• Strong storytelling ability
• Ability to work under deadline pressure
• Willingness to work nights/weekends
• Valid driver’s license
• U.S. work authorization
