Overview
Leads fundraising and development efforts by managing grants, donor relationships, and funding strategies. Works closely with leadership and program teams to secure funding and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Pay
$82,000 – $85,000 per year
Schedule
Monday – Friday, standard office hours
Occasional evenings or weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Manages relationships with corporations, foundations, government agencies, and donors
- Researches and identifies new funding opportunities
- Writes and submits grant proposals and reports
- Coordinates grant budgets and collaborates with leadership on funding strategies
- Tracks fundraising goals and ensures compliance with grant requirements
- Maintains grant calendars, reporting timelines, and internal tracking systems
- Works across departments to gather program data and outcomes
- Supports fundraising strategy, public policy efforts, and site visits with funders
- Improves internal systems and processes for grant management and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- 5–7+ years of nonprofit development and fundraising experience
- Strong experience with grants, compliance, and donor relations
- Knowledge of Minnesota philanthropic and funding landscape preferred
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with fundraising databases preferred
