This Research Fellow position focuses on advancing digital pathology through the development and application of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. The role involves working with large-scale digital pathology datasets and multimodal clinical data to support the creation of innovative diagnostic and predictive tools. The fellow collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of pathologists, data scientists, and engineers to design and implement research that translates into real-world clinical impact. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with AI scientists and engineers to develop and evaluate machine learning models for pathology
  • Design and lead research projects in digital pathology and clinical data analysis
  • Analyze large-scale imaging and multimodal datasets
  • Support development of software tools and AI-based diagnostic systems
  • Translate research findings into clinical applications
  • Contribute to publications, presentations, and scientific communication
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to advance research goals


Qualifications:

  • MD or DVM with residency training in Anatomic Pathology
  • Strong knowledge of pathology reporting and morphologic interpretation
  • Experience with machine learning or deep learning technologies
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Comfort working with complex healthcare data


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Training in clinical informatics or bioinformatics
  • Experience with AI in healthcare or digital pathology

Pay Type: Salary

Compensation: $64,079 – $74,963 per year
