About the Role

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Community Pediatrics Adolescent Medicine team in Rochester. In this role, you’ll provide direct patient care, coordinate treatment plans, educate patients and families, and support continuity of care while working within Mayo Clinic’s Relationship-Based Care model.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care for adolescent patients.
• Deliver direct patient care and patient/family education.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care.
• Support care transitions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as a mentor, preceptor, or clinical leader as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department projects.
• Delegate patient care appropriately based on patient needs and staff skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA).
• Minimum one year of RN experience required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license prior to start date.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication, leadership, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Schedule

• Part-Time (40 hours per pay period)
• Monday–Friday, daytime 8-hour shifts.
• Occasional Saturday mornings.
• May float to other Mayo Clinic Primary Care sites, including Rochester and Kasson, based on patient needs.
