Responsibilities

• Assists nurses with patient care tasks under supervision
• Provides direct and indirect patient support
• Performs duties allowed for unlicensed nursing personnel
• Supports patient care units in surgical services
• Helps maintain safe and efficient patient care environment

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required or 12 college credits preferred
• Nursing Assistant training preferred
• Basic Life Support certification required (or obtained during orientation)
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions
• Adaptability in a fast-paced patient care setting

Schedule

Full time

Variable shifts including days and evenings

8- or 12-hour shifts
