About the Role
The City of Saint Paul’s Human Resources Department is seeking a temporary, part-time Office Assistant II to support the Workers’ Compensation Unit. This position provides administrative and clerical support to assist with workers’ compensation claims processing and record management.

Schedule

  • 20 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Review workers’ compensation documents for accuracy and request missing information.
  • Enter claim information into department systems.
  • Assist claims adjusters by opening claims, researching information, and providing administrative support.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Support daily office operations within the Workers’ Compensation Unit.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of clerical or administrative experience.
  • Substitution: Two years of post-secondary education related to administrative work may substitute for the required experience.
  • Strong organizational, data entry, communication, and administrative skills.
