Role Overview
PwC is seeking a Manager within its Software and Product Innovation team to lead the development of innovative software solutions that support digital transformation and business performance. This role combines software engineering leadership, client engagement, strategic planning, and mentorship while focusing on emerging technologies including generative AI.
The Manager will guide teams through the design, execution, and delivery of software initiatives while maintaining operational excellence, quality standards, and strong stakeholder communication. The position also involves mentoring junior staff, overseeing project lifecycles, and identifying opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams in developing and delivering innovative software solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage projects through planning, budgeting, execution, delivery, and completion.
- Oversee quality standards, timelines, deliverables, and operational performance across project lifecycles.
- Guide and mentor junior team members while supporting skill development and leadership growth.
- Engage with clients to identify needs, strengthen relationships, and improve project outcomes.
- Facilitate communication across teams, stakeholders, and leadership groups.
- Stay informed on advancements in generative AI technologies and integrate innovation into project strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, productivity enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
- Address project conflicts, stakeholder concerns, and complex business challenges when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with professional, technical, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing information technology applications.
- Equivalent specialized training and progressive technology experience may substitute for incomplete degree requirements.
- Preferred background in Computer Applications, Computer Programming, or related technology fields.
- Experience managing software development initiatives and guiding teams through complex technical challenges.
- Knowledge of generative AI technologies, cloud platforms, database technologies, and software development lifecycles preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, analytical, and client relationship management skills required.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams, oversee project execution, and drive strategic outcomes.
Payment
- Salary range: $73,500 – $212,280 annually.
- Washington state salary range: $73,500 – $244,000 annually.
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus.

Schedule
Full-time position.
Up to 20% travel required.
Location
Multiple locations and hybrid opportunities may be available depending on business needs and client engagements.
