Full Time | 40 hours per week
Pay: $58,000 – $65,000 per year
Overview
Plans, coordinates, and executes CLUES’ institutional events while building community partnerships that support organizational growth and mission impact. This role manages events from concept through completion and works closely with Marketing, Development, and Program teams to support fundraising, community engagement, brand visibility, and outreach.
Responsibilities
- Plans and executes large institutional events
- Supports events such as Fiesta Latina, Gala Latina, Día de los Muertos, Annual Toy Distribution, and Al Niño Con Cariño
- Develops event plans, timelines, run-of-show documents, and follow-up activities
- Coordinates venues, vendors, permits, equipment, staffing, and volunteers
- Serves as on-site event lead
- Supports staff across departments with planning large events
- Develops and manages event budgets
- Tracks expenses, invoices, outcomes, participation data, and deliverables
- Builds partnerships with community organizations, sponsors, vendors, and local businesses
- Represents CLUES at community events, meetings, and presentations
- Coordinates event marketing materials, email campaigns, social media, and digital assets
- Tracks event metrics and supports post-event evaluation
- Maintains confidentiality and follows agency policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
- 3–5+ years of experience in event planning, community engagement, partnerships, or related work
- Experience planning and executing events from start to finish
- Experience with fundraising events, sponsorships, and event marketing preferred
- Strong project management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing platforms, or similar tools preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Cultural competency and experience working with Latino/a/x communities preferred
- Bilingual English and Spanish required
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, insurance, and good driving record required
