Position Summary:

The Inside Sales primary role is to facilitate the sale of computers to schools, educational organizations, and nonprofit organizations, with a secondary role of assisting with wholesale and online sales of equipment through online sites.


Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with primary decision-makers, possibly face to face, in area school districts and nonprofits to help solve their organizations’ technology needs.
  • Work with the Senior Sales Manager and Production staff to prioritize donated computer refurbishment to fulfill orders and online needs.
  • Prepare and ship computer orders using a contracted vendor; deliver smaller orders in person to local organizations.
  • Work with the Senior Sales Manager to maintain program profitability and update current inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Specialist to update promotional and outreach communications, including email marketing.
  • Occasionally assist in other areas of the organization as needed.
  • Process items for online sales as needed.
  • Participate in weekly strategic meetings with the Senior Sales Manager and Director of Products and Sales to maximize program impact.
  • Create and analyze monthly sales reports and recommend process improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, time management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Strong background in personal computers and technology is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and light computer repair skills are a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience working with nonprofits and prior sales experience are a plus.
