Position Summary:

Brothers and Sisters of Compassionate Care is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join their team as IHS (Individualized Home Supports) Specialists and Homemakers. These roles focus on supporting individuals in their homes and communities to improve quality of life, independence, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and maintaining overall health and well-being.
• Plan and engage in activities based on individual interests at home or in the community.
• Maintain respectful communication and provide person-centered care.
• Support household safety and daily living needs.

IHS Specialists:

• Provide culturally competent, individualized support based on each person’s preferences.
• Transport clients using a personal vehicle when needed.
• Work in a community-based setting (no fixed office location).

Homemakers:

• Monitor client well-being within the home environment.
• Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry services.

Qualifications:

• Reliable vehicle required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient.
• Comfortable working in home and community settings.
• Must pass DHS background study.

Compensation:

IHS Specialists: Starting at $20/hour (DOE)

Homemakers: Starting at $18/hour
