Pay

$143,293.38 – $180,000 annually

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Some evening and weekend work required
• In-person role located in Duluth, MN

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and supports student health and academic success.
• Leads Health Services operations, strategic planning, policy development, and departmental administration.
• Collaborates with medical and laboratory leadership to oversee clinical services, infection control, diagnostic imaging, and healthcare procedures.
• Supervises professional staff, including hiring, coaching, evaluations, and performance management.
• Oversees budgets, long-range fiscal planning, and Student Service Fee budget processes.
• Represents Health Services on campus committees and community partnerships.
• Develops assessments, quality improvement initiatives, nursing protocols, and healthcare service evaluations.
• Coordinates public health communication and collaborates with the University of Minnesota Health System on policies and practices.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Minnesota healthcare license required.
• Board certification required.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience.
• Primary healthcare provider background required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Doctor of Medicine.
• Specialties in family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics.
• Experience in healthcare administration and staff supervision.
• Experience in public health and infectious disease response.
