Ever-Green Energy is seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee construction and maintenance of district energy heating and cooling pipeline systems. This includes valves, underground vaults, expansion chambers, tunnels, substations, communication systems, and customer connections. The goal is to ensure reliable thermal energy delivery to customers.

Physical Demands:
- The role requires frequent communication, hearing, and near vision.
- Regular physical activities include climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using equipment.
- Occasional activities include crawling, kneeling, reaching, stooping, and working in confined spaces.
Work Environment:
- Work takes place in heating and cooling plants and distribution systems.
- Conditions may include exposure to fumes, noise, extreme temperatures, high-pressure steam, machinery, confined spaces, and chemicals.

Responsibilities:
- Field Supervision – Pipeline Construction
- Oversee pipeline construction projects
- Ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Coordinate contractors and schedules
- Prepare and stage materials
- Assist with project documentation
- Complete daily reports and timesheets
- Maintain welding and as-built records
Field Supervision – Cathodic Protection Systems
- Oversee system upgrade projects
- Ensure contractor compliance
- Understand system components (anodes, wiring, test stations)
- Produce as-built drawings
- Assist with documentation and reporting
Pipeline Monitoring and Leak Detection
- Monitor system zones
- Use equipment to locate leaks
- Conduct testing and analyze data
- Recommend solutions and supervise repairs
- Assist with system upgrades and records
Distribution Duties
- Participate in on-call system
- Respond to emergencies and after-hours calls
- Monitor excavation activities near pipelines
- Assist with shutdowns and temporary service solutions
- Maintain inventory and records
- Support maintenance and operations
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and loaders
Minimum Requirements:
- Postsecondary coursework or equivalent experience in related fields
- CP1 Certification or ability to obtain within 24 months
- Understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and supervisory skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform physical job duties
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
Preferred Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of arc welding
- Basic knowledge of cathodic protection systems
- Experience with underground utilities
Salary: $87,800 to $109,800
