This role leads a portfolio-wide program to evaluate facility conditions, guide capital investments, and support long-term planning.
The position oversees multidisciplinary teams, ensures data accuracy, and delivers actionable recommendations to support safe, compliant, and high-performing facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership and Strategy
- Lead FCA program strategy, standards, and continuous improvement
- Develop facility plans based on condition, risk, and lifecycle needs
- Create long-term capital renewal strategies and prioritization models
Technical Assessment and Analysis
- Conduct and oversee facility condition evaluations and site visits
- Assess building systems including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and more
- Estimate costs for repair, replacement, and maintenance
- Develop detailed reports using standardized software
- Support facility master planning and budgeting decisions
Data, Reporting, and Capital Planning
- Develop or select FCA software and establish procedures
- Create reports, dashboards, and capital investment recommendations
- Analyze remaining useful life, deferred maintenance, and facility condition metrics
- Integrate data into asset management and capital planning tools
Stakeholder and Client Engagement
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Communicate technical findings to a variety of audiences
- Collaborate with internal teams to align recommendations with goals
Business Development and Growth
- Identify and pursue new FCA business opportunities
- Develop client relationships and negotiate service agreements
- Support proposals, interviews, and go-to-market strategies
- Manage pipeline and future opportunities
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead hiring, training, and development of FCA team members
- Ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met
- Promote continuous learning and certification
- Support cross-functional initiatives
- Lead safety culture and participate in required training
Operations, Compliance, and Quality
- Establish quality control processes for assessments and reporting
- Ensure compliance with codes and regulations
- Oversee assessment tools and systems
- Perform additional duties as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10 or more years of experience in facility assessments, capital planning, or construction
- Strong knowledge of building systems and lifecycle costing
- Experience with assessment software and capital planning tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel approximately 25 percent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional licensure such as PE or RA, or certifications such as CFM, FMP, or RMP
- Experience managing large, multi-site portfolios
- Background in sustainability or energy efficiency
- Experience developing long-term capital plans and executive reporting
- Membership in industry organizations such as BOMA, IFMA, or ASHRAE

Salary: $115,000 to $175,000
