This role provides on-site management of commercial construction projects to ensure quality, safety, strong customer experience, and financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily field operations for assigned projects
• Develop and manage project schedules with the project team
• Plan, coordinate, and communicate daily site activities
• Review and approve sequencing of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Collaborate with project management on subcontractor scope development
• Mentor field staff including assistant superintendents and engineers
• Prepare and submit weekly timecards
• Coordinate procurement tracking with project engineers
• Maintain daily construction logs and documentation
• Assist with RFIs and project documentation
• Collaborate with estimating to understand project scope
• Serve as liaison between owner and construction team
• Enforce quality control and assurance standards
• Manage on-site project costs and approve invoices
• Identify and communicate out-of-scope work
• Document project issues impacting cost or schedule
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Support business development efforts
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing field staff
• Represent the company professionally on job sites
• Promote company values and teamwork

Safety Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enforce a zero-incident safety culture
• Lead daily safety meetings and weekly safety audits
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
• Coordinate with safety department during inspections
• Report and document safety incidents
• Participate in required safety training

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10 to 15 years of commercial construction experience
• Proven ability to lead large construction teams
• Knowledge of building codes, OSHA standards, and regulations
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle
• Ability to manage project costs and schedules
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Professional and composed demeanor
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training
• Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor
• Experience leading projects over $10M
• Experience in education, healthcare, industrial, or similar sectors
• Background in construction trades
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Remodeling experience
• Experience in project interviews and business development
• Additional construction certifications
• Experience managing self-performed work
• Experience with phased construction projects
