Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience and route)

Position Summary

Aspen Waste Systems is seeking experienced and safety-focused CDL Drivers to join its growing team. Drivers operate refuse collection trucks on roll-off, front-load, and swing routes throughout the Twin Cities metro area. This role is responsible for providing reliable waste and recycling collection services while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with safety and transportation regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate refuse collection vehicles on assigned routes.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service.
• Follow company safety procedures and comply with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report safety concerns, route issues, vehicle maintenance needs, and operational disruptions to supervisors.
• Complete daily route documentation and required reports.
• Maintain safe driving practices while navigating residential and commercial routes.
• Ensure efficient collection and transportation of waste and recycling materials.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Certification.
• Safe driving record.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and transportation safety regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous refuse truck driving experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the Twin Cities metro area is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
