About the Role

The Minnesota Veterans Home is seeking a Behavioral Health Supervisor to lead the mental and behavioral health services within its Domiciliary Program. This role provides clinical leadership, supervises behavioral health programming, and works to improve psychosocial and clinical outcomes for Veterans receiving care in Hastings and Minneapolis.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and management of the Domiciliary Program’s behavioral health services.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision for mental and behavioral health programming.
• Support high-quality psychosocial and clinical outcomes for Veterans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Travel regularly between the Hastings and Minneapolis Veterans Home campuses.
• Help develop and strengthen behavioral health programs and services.

Qualifications

Required

• Current Minnesota licensure as one of the following:
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or
  • Licensed Psychologist (LP) with the ability to provide clinical supervision or obtain Clinical Supervision Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Supervisory, team lead, or lead worker experience.
• Three years of experience providing direct mental health services.
• Experience developing treatment plans, behavioral care plans, and using the DSM.
• Experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to travel between Hastings and Minneapolis.

Preferred

• Experience providing individual or group therapy for Veterans.
• Experience treating PTSD, substance use disorders, mental illness, suicide prevention, geriatrics, or polytrauma.
• Experience with behavioral health program development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
