Overview

Provides high-level administrative and coordination support to the CEO and Board of Directors. This role ensures strong organization, communication, and follow-through across executive and governance functions in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.


Pay

$40,560 salary


Schedule

  • Approximately 30 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday
  • Occasional flexibility for board meetings and events


Responsibilities

  • Coordinates Board of Directors meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and communications.
  • Prepares and distributes agendas, materials, and meeting packets.
  • Records meeting minutes and tracks decisions and action items.
  • Maintains board calendars, records, and compliance documents.
  • Supports CEO with scheduling, calendar management, and prioritization.
  • Tracks executive-level tasks and ensures follow-through.
  • Prepares materials for leadership meetings and maintains executive files.
  • Supports coordination across leadership team.
  • Maintains organizational trackers, timelines, and documentation.
  • Coordinates logistics for leadership meetings, retreats, and governance activities.
  • Improves administrative systems, workflows, and document management.
  • Ensures clear communication, organization, and efficiency across operations.


Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of administrative, executive support, or coordination experience.
  • Nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting boards or governance functions strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Comfort working with senior leadership and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
