La Voz Latina is seeking a talented Spanish-language freelance writer to help cover stories that matter to Latino communities throughout the Twin Cities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys conducting interviews, developing community connections, and producing engaging, culturally relevant journalism. The selected writer will contribute approximately one to two articles per month, working closely with the publication to identify stories, interview sources, and create high-quality content in Spanish for readers across the region.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken Spanish required
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Ability to conduct interviews professionally and effectively
• Journalism, communications, media, or freelance writing experience preferred
• Knowledge of and connection to Latino communities in the Twin Cities is a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable communicating with a variety of community members, organizations, and leaders
• Experience writing articles, news stories, feature pieces, or community-focused content preferred
• Ability to produce approximately 1–2 articles per month
