The position reports to the Senior Associate Director of Student Engagement and Inclusion.

Compensation

  • Salary: $61,000–$65,000/year
  • Full-time
  • Hybrid position

Main Areas of Responsibility

Student Engagement, Inclusion & Community Building (35%)

You would:

  • Lead engagement initiatives and student events
  • Develop DEI and wellbeing programming
  • Coordinate orientations and graduation programming
  • Support online and flexible-learning students
  • Manage case competitions
  • Handle event contracts and logistics
  • Assess student feedback and participation metrics

This role is highly focused on building community for adult and professional learners.

Student Advising & Mentorship (30%)

You would:

  • Advise Professional MBA student organizations
  • Support student leaders
  • Oversee club budgets and reimbursements
  • Create leadership resources and training
  • Help students navigate university policies
  • Track engagement and recommend improvements

Communications & Publications (25%)

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing onboarding communications
  • Developing event communication plans
  • Maintaining websites and digital resources
  • Managing CRM systems
  • Ensuring accessibility and branding compliance

Supervision & Leadership (10%)

  • Supervise a graduate assistant
  • Participate in committees and strategic projects
  • Support departmental initiatives

Required Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree + 4 years relevant experience
    OR
  • Master’s degree + 2 years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

Strong preference for:

  • Experience with diverse populations
  • Student engagement/community building
  • Event management
  • Communications
  • Project management
  • Counseling/supporting students
  • Managing multiple priorities independently

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule
  • Some days remote, some in-office
  • Based in Minneapolis
